Digital Textbook Adoption versus Digital Content Curation and Creation

While this concept is a huge step in the right direction, interactive textbooks are really only accomplishing an old thing in a new way. We need to focus our efforts on teaching our educators on how to effectively curate digital content and digital resources so that they are equipped to use multiple forms of these resources as they begin to develop relevant and real-world curriculum for their students. By "adopting" a digital textbook, many educators will then rely on that textbook to be their creator and curator when our true mission needs to be for us to teach them how to become the curriculum designer and curriculum author.

        1. You must get your parent or guardian to read these Terms of Service before using the Service if you are under 18 years of age.
        2.
        3. You will only register for and access the Service as a student registrant, and not as a teacher, school, district, parent, publisher, or any other category of user, whether offered by LessonPaths now or in the future.
        4.
        5. You will only access the Service using the account created by your teacher, school, or school district. You may not use any account of any other student or which you did not directly receive from your own teacher, school, or school district.
    • You must obtain advance written consent ("Consent") from all parents whose children will be accessing the Service. When obtaining Consent, you must provide parents with a copy of our Privacy Policy. You must keep signed Consents on file and provide them to LessonPaths upon our request.
