One way for home school parents (and children) to meet others and get support is through a social networking service, such as Ning. There are dozens of niche groups represented here, from black home schoolers to radical unschoolers.

Home schooling can be daunting. Fortunately, face-to-face and online groups exist for encouragement, support, and help with practicalities. (Which curriculum should I use? Can I get my kid enrolled in intramural sports? How do I keep from going crazy?)
