• • Paul seems to be comparing the temporal aspects of the world - what can be seen - to eternal things - those that last forever.
    It is interesting that he says that God has made us to be clothed with our 'heavenly dwelling' (with the Spirit as a deposit guaranteeing this), so that 'what is mortal may be swallowed up by LIFE' - real life.
