How
to integrate quizzes created in Captivate with
the Blackboard 9.1 Grade Centre

So you have just
created a Captivate presentation that includes quizzes in your powerpoints.
The steps that should be taken to achieve the integration of your Captivate
quizzes into the
blackboard grade center are as follows:
1.
Create a
Captivate presentation
which includes quizzes and
p
ublish
as a
Z
ip
file.
2.
Upload this zip file into blackboard 9.1
by adding a Content Scorm package.
Browse
your computer and uploading th
e
zip file, fill out the SCORM information
such as title, availability and grading.
3.
After submitting this, a SCORM file is created
in the Content Area,
along with a
column in the Grade
Center that relates to the quiz
within the Captivate
presentation
.

Captivate is part of the Adobe eLearning suite. This application allows you to import existing
power point presentations as well as add to the content. One of the things you can add is
quizzes which then
can be published
, as a Zip file that has the eLearning output as SCORM
.
This will allow your quizzes to be gradable within Blackboard 9.1.
