This website details the development of a Classroom Management Plan (CMP). While the parameters are not exactly the same as the one I am asking you to develop in class, it should still be a very useful resource. I would especially recommend clicking on the links to "philosophy of classroom management," and "sample classroom management plan." The philosophy section should be a very useful example in thinking through your own beliefs. The "principles and values" link would also be worth checking out.
Get the classroom management effort off to a good start by establishing effective rules and procedures, implementing appropriate disciplinary interventions, fostering productive student-teacher relationships, and helping students contribute to a positive learning environment.
