so true, no matter how we try we are a product of our culture, society, norms, family, laws, beliefs, religions, and schooling. There will be moments of resistance when we act out of place or attempt to break these abstract chains but we are hemmed in by psychological chains. This is so the species will continue on? or that no one gets too much power? or steals someone's "wife"? or challenge the status quo? or or or....
