Chitika found that Google users are more likely to search for local goods and services then Yahoo! or Bing users. 43% of Google searches indicate a user’s interest in local services and products compared to 25% for Yahoo! and Bing. This could be an indication of Google’s success in spurring users to look for local businesses via its popular Maps application.
