The site is simple: answer quiz questions and money is donated to the UN Food Program.
The default quiz or activity is a vocabulary exercise which will likely be too difficult for elementary children if they are working alone. Solve this by working as a class or making this a dictionary lesson (remember dictionaries?).
Another way to make the site accessible to your kids is by choosing the “subjects” tab. Under subjects you can find a quiz that is more suitable for your students (multiplication for example) and let the donations start racking up.
To my knowledge there isn’t a way to request that your donations are earmarked for, say, Haiti, but your students will feel like they are contributing to the organization that will be doing the a sizable portion of the ongoing relief in that country
