We are a four-piece, featuring guitar, banjo, upright bass, and drums, with three part harmonies and can either play as a full band or as a stripped down acoustic trio. Cold Chocolate appeared on the Showcase stage at the Joe Val Bluegrass Festival this year as well as Bluegrass on the Bogs, and will be appearing at Ossipee Valley Bluegrass Festival at the end of July.
Cold Chocolate's album, "This Old Way," has been featured on numerous Americana stations, including: WXRV (MA), WFDU (NJ), WHFC (MD), FolksScene, KKFI, KVNF, and WDVR, as well as European Americana radio programs, including: Songriver, Radio Parkstad, PeelGrass, and ISA Radio.

Info Below:
Cold Chocolate guitarist/songwriter Ethan Robbins believes that the rootsy sounds of bluegrass music were meant to be fused with the backbeat of funk. Ethan’s bluegrass career began at Oberlin College. There he met upright bassist Kirsten Lamb, and the two began developing a new style of sophisticated but accessible Americana. Now joined by the jazz-inflected banjo of James McIver and the loose-wristed Ariel Bernstein on drums, Cold Chocolate proves to be an innovative Americana act with their debut album “This Old Way.” Hailing from Boston’s vibrant acoustic scene, Cold Chocolate has built a reputation for creating original, exciting, and virtuosic tunes.
Let me know if we can work something out.
Best,
Ethan
