Whickham Villa was established in 1987 & has evolved over the years to provide an array of specialist acquired brain injury rehabilitation services for people in Tyneside. Three separate service facilities are available on site with Chase Park Rehabilitation Centre registered for 30 adults aged over 18 years; Millfield House Care Home registered for 39 adults; & the Healthclub, which is available for resident, family & non resident clients of all ages.

MS Research & Relief Fund aims to provide good quality information & a range of services to help people whose lives have been affected by MS. Its Grants Service is available to groups & individuals to fund items or services that may fall outside the scope of statutory bodies. A range of complementary therapies is available from qualified practitioners, to people who can attend an MS group at Benmar House, Morpeth or an Outreach Therapy Clinic held at several locations throughout the area.
