Academic Integrity
Academic Integrity is complete honesty and originality of ones work. Holding values of hard work, honesty, and responsibility is what academic integrity is all about. Academic integrity involves following rules of honest scholarship.
I believe student should always hand in work that is from their own thoughts and ideas. A student with academic integrity would never cheat, plagiaries, or steal ideas. Having academic integrity shows that I have pride in my own work and my own thoughts. Learning and coming up with my own ideas will take me much further then copying and cheating.

Blogging
A weblog or "blog" is is a webpage that contains a series of post in chronological order. Web logging or "blogging" is the act of creating posts or entries on a blog. Posts can either be focused on one specific topic or various topics. These posts are usually written in a diary-like form.
I see blogging as a way to express your ideas and opinions to millions of people. It is a great way to freely talk about any issues or problems you may be having. Blogging is also a great way to share your hobbies, likes, dislikes, and views on endless amount of topics. Blogs can range from personal everyday stories to world affairs and international news. There is a blog out there for everyone.

Collaboration
Collaboration is working together with another person or group. There are a few different types of collaboration but they all include working and sharing ideas with others. Collaboration involves communication and joint effort. Collaborating can help accomplish tasks faster and more efficiently.
I believe collaboration helps to spread ideas and arise new ones. When collaborating it is easy to work of others and build off their ideas. Collaborating can get the ball moving much faster then if someone were to work alone. Not only is there more brain power but it is easier to stem ideas and view off of what other have already contributed. Collaborating with class mates is something i enjoy doing.
Copyright
Copyright is the rights and ownership you have to a piece of work you have created whether its a book, painting, video, song, ect... It protects your personal work from being copied and allows one to profit from their work.
I think copyrights are useful and very beneficial to artists of all trades. Everyone's work is automatically copyrighted so it prevents what they have created from being stolen or used without their permission. Copyright is like a security blanket for all those who like to create things and share them with the online world. It helps insure that your work doesn't get used without your consent and to makes sure you get full credit for all the hard work that you have put into it. If i were to put my work up on the internet I'm glad I would have it protected.
Fundamentally, copyright is a law that gives you ownership over the things you create. Be it a painting, a photograph, a poem or a novel, if you created it, you own it and it’s the copyright law itself that assures that ownership. The ownership that copyright law grants comes with several rights that you, as the owner, have exclusively.

Databases
Databases are large collections of organized information, facts, and data that is easily retrievable. Databases usually start out as a list. Once the list gets too big and hard to understand in list form they are turned into databases.
Databases are and easy, awesome way to find credible and reliable information. EBSCOhost is one website that allows you to search though tons of databases. I've used EBSCOhost throughout my high school career and even as early as middle school to find reliable databases. Databases are a great place to find an abundance of facts and information about a subject.

Digital Citizenship
Digital citizenship is appropriate and responsible behavior online. Being appropriate and knowing right from wrong on the internet makes you a digital citizen. Digital Citizens know how to use the internet safely, responsibly, effectively, and with others in mind. They know they are responsible for their own actions online and they act accordingly.
Digital Citizenship is more then important when going online. You have to create boundaries, limits, and morals for yourself when online. It's easy for many young adults to overlook the consequences of what they are post and saying online. You should never get to comfortable on the internet and should always practice good digital citizenship.
