Rob and his son Anthony are the driving force behind Bauer’s Organic Farm, situated at Mt. Sylvia, Qld which is in the heart of the Lockyer Valley, approximately 100 miles west of Brisbane. This area is deemed one of the ‘Top Ten’ most fertile farming areas in the world….the farm draws it’s water from a crystal clear underground supply fed by Blackfellow Creek. The Bauer family has farmed their property since settlement in 1885 (Rob’s great-grandparents).

Anthony Wallis & his wife Jennifer with Anthony’s brother Jeromy have been supplying Lettuce with both Navel and Valencia Oranges each season as well as Emperor Mandarins since 1999. Just 50km from Lettuce headquarters in Homebush, the 20 hectare farm lies at the junction of the Colo and Hawkesbury Rivers in Lower Portland. Each week during the season the fruit is delivered by a member of the family directly to our warehouse.

Angus and Sonya Dowling own and operate Enviroganic Farm, which is located in Murringo via Young. The farm is located approximately 4 hours drive from Sydney in the picturesque Hilltops region of Southern NSW. Angus & Sonya have been supplying us with their quality chickens and turkeys since 2002 when they became certified with the Organic Food Chain. The property itself has been farmed organically since 1999, when Angus and Sonya took over the reigns of the 1000 Acre family farm. The property has been farmed by the Dowling Family since the 1840’s. 

Graeme & Fiona Schultz, with their two sons Carey & Kym have been supplying us with their amazing Apples since 1999. Located in the picturesque suburb of Forest Range, South Australia the family property stretches over 60 beautiful hectares…25 of which is Orchard, the other 35 remaining virgin bush land.

Between them, Don and Elaine have a combined 40years experience in vegetable seed crops, agronomy and agricultural research. Their home property has been under organic management since 2002 and is fully certified. Since then, they have expanded their properties to 3, increasing their total property area to 106 ha so they can meet the demand for their produce. Recently they expanded into far north Queensland allowing them to supply their major produce lines all year round. All of their properties are certified organic. They have been supplying Lettuce with a wide range of summer and winter crops for years.

Michael and Jenny Bogicevic began Coolibah Herbs around 30 years ago in Pearcedale, on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. They initially began growing a variety of flowers and vegetable on 18 hectares, to be sold via the wholesale markets in Melbourne. When the farm began producing Mesclun salad mix, the demand led them to buying an adjoining farm.
