# Instruct children to create a travel brochure of ancient Egypt that includes a map of the region and information about the language(s) spoken, the government, the climate, daily life, transportation, important events (major religious ceremonies, battles) and cultural sites such as the Valley of the Kings. If desktop publishing software is available at the school, let students use it to prepare the brochure and the map---otherwise, allow them to use word processing software to create their project and hand draw their map onto the a blank page of the brochure" -
