• That’s what we’ve done. We’ve removed nearly 100,000 U.S. troops from Iraq. We’ve closed or transferred to the Iraqis hundreds of bases. And we have moved millions of pieces of equipment out of Iraq.

  • What WE? This was all George the Second's plan that Obama said would never work, was not working, did not work.
• This year also saw Iraq hold credible elections that drew a strong turnout.

  • But no government has yet been formed from that election.
• and patriots who opposed it.

  • And Obama is a patriot who opposed it and now is attempting to take credit for it.
• We spent a trillion dollars at war, often financed by borrowing from overseas.
• and contributed to record deficits.

  • At the time, Bush's deficits were a record. Those deficits have been eclipsed by Obama's.
