The Delaware Law Related Education Center, Inc. [DELREC], a private nonprofit 501c(3) organization, is a statewide consortium of educators, attorneys, judges, law enforcement officers and other community leaders with a mission to enhance the presence of law-related education initiatives in Delaware. It seeks to promote active learning experiences and skills development for students who need to function in a society based on the rule of law.
The Law-Related Education (LRE) Department of the State Bar serves as a catalyst to advance law related and civic education programs throughout the state by curriculum development, educator training, and grant administration. Working with the legal community, public and private school districts, universities, and Regional Educational Service Centers, the department administers numerous programs designed to improve the administration of justice and promote civic education and participation. In 2003, over 4,000 participants attended a LRE workshop, institute, or conference.\n
The Alabama Center for Law & Civic Education (ACLCE) is dedicated to teaching civic knowledge, skills, and responsibilities.
ACLCE is a resource and training center dedicated to educating young citizens in civic knowledge in law and government. Since 1990, ACLCE has provided school and community based programs, including We the People (national constitutional law program), Teen Court (peer sentencing court), Street Law (practical law and civic responsibilities curriculum), Project Citizen (public policy action program) and Play by the Rules (PBR).
The Alaska Teaching Justice Network is a group of educators, judges, lawyers, Youth Court representatives, juvenile justice officials, school resource officers, and others concerned with advancing law-related education
for Alaska's youth. ATJN is sponsored by the Alaska Court System and the Alaska Bar Association and is chaired by Alaska Supreme Court Justice Dana Fabe. Funding for the network is provided in part by Youth for Justice, a
program of the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, U.S. Department of Justice.
The Connecticut Consortium for Law and Citizenship Education, Inc. is a private, non-profit association that promotes and conducts law-related education programs and projects in Connecticut's public and private schools, courtrooms and communities. Its goal is the incorporation of citizenship education into the curriculum of all schools, from kindergarten through high school. Established in 1976, the Consortium is co-sponsored by the active participation of a number of private and public groups throughout the state
The Louisiana Center for Law and Civic Education promotes the practical understanding of, and respect for, the law throughout Louisiana. This is achieved by coordinating, implementing, and developing Law and Civic Education programs, by training others in the delivery of Law and Civic Education and assisting schools and interested community organizations with the delivery of quality Law and Civics Education programs.

The Learning Law and Democracy Foundation promotes the development of civic competence through accurate, effective, nonpartisan citizenship and law-related education for teachers and students. We provide engaging lessons for k-12 classrooms, activities that encourage civics learning, and support standards and best practices.
NJ LEEP was founded in 2006. Executive Director and founder Craig Livermore, a graduate of Columbia Law School, developed the project after working for Legal Outreach, Inc. in Brooklyn. Legal Outreach has successfully worked with urban youth from underserved neighborhoods in Harlem and Brooklyn for twenty-three years. Using law to attract middle school and high school students to academic programs that inspire and motivate them, Legal Outreach has helped disadvantaged youth build the skills, confidence and character they need to achieve their goals.
The Citizenship Law-Related Education Program for the Schools of Maryland (CLREP) was established in 1975 to promote law-related education in public and private schools. Over the years, CLREP has strived to develop programs that educate kids about the law through "real-world" experience. \n\nStudents are provided the opportunity to learn how the law plays an integral role in their lives and to further their understanding of, and appreciation for, our constitutional form of government through programs such as the MSBA High School Mock Trial Competition, Law Links Internship, and Baltimore City Teen Court. In addition, CLREP promotes the development and enhancement of essential life skills in students. \n\nCLREP is managed by the Professional Development and Training Center, Inc., a nonprofit educational corporation. The staff is available to local school systems, educational groups, and community organizations throughout Maryland as speakers or consultants.
