The Delaware Law Related Education Center, Inc. [DELREC], a private nonprofit 501c(3) organization, is a statewide consortium of educators, attorneys, judges, law enforcement officers and other community leaders with a mission to enhance the presence of law-related education initiatives in Delaware. It seeks to promote active learning experiences and skills development for students who need to function in a society based on the rule of law.
The Law-Related Education (LRE) Department of the State Bar serves as a catalyst to advance law related and civic education programs throughout the state by curriculum development, educator training, and grant administration. Working with the legal community, public and private school districts, universities, and Regional Educational Service Centers, the department administers numerous programs designed to improve the administration of justice and promote civic education and participation. In 2003, over 4,000 participants attended a LRE workshop, institute, or conference.\n
The Alabama Center for Law & Civic Education (ACLCE) is dedicated to teaching civic knowledge, skills, and responsibilities.
ACLCE is a resource and training center dedicated to educating young citizens in civic knowledge in law and government. Since 1990, ACLCE has provided school and community based programs, including We the People (national constitutional law program), Teen Court (peer sentencing court), Street Law (practical law and civic responsibilities curriculum), Project Citizen (public policy action program) and Play by the Rules (PBR).
The Alaska Teaching Justice Network is a group of educators, judges, lawyers, Youth Court representatives, juvenile justice officials, school resource officers, and others concerned with advancing law-related education
for Alaska's youth. ATJN is sponsored by the Alaska Court System and the Alaska Bar Association and is chaired by Alaska Supreme Court Justice Dana Fabe. Funding for the network is provided in part by Youth for Justice, a

The South Carolina Bar Law Related Education (LRE) Division is a service arm of the Bar that, since the mid-1980s, has provided teachers, school resource officers, juvenile justice personnel and lawyers with resources, materials and technical assistance to teach law and citizenship education. LRE serves as a central source for civic education in South Carolina, providing free and low cost trainings for teachers and School Resource Officers to implement programs to include Community Works; Foundations of Democracy; Elementary, Middle, and High School Mock Trial, LawForKids.org; Law For Teachers; Street Law; We the People: Project Citizen; and We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution. LRE hosts culminating activities to include regional and state competitions for Mock Trial, Project Citizen; and We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution. \n\nMission Statement of the SC Bar LRE:\nThe mission of the SC Bar Law Related Education Committee is to develop in our citizens, particularly in our youth, a deeper understanding of and appreciation for our democratic ideals and institutions in order that they may become active and responsible participants in our society.
