Read The Words could be a beneficial tool to students who are Language Impaired and/or Learning Disabled in Reading. The audio can reinforce the written word and increase comprehension. Also, it could be a valuable tool for autistic students who prefer to work independently. They can use this to aid comprehension and also it could be a reward. This tool could also add interest to text for any student.

      • I think I could use teams to produce a poster as a summative for a unit. I would like to have teams create a poster meeting specific guidelines. This could work well with CCS because I could provide several different resources for students to use. Perhaps I could have one DOK 3 or 4 questions per section of a chapter in the textbook. Or a couple DOK 3 or 4 questions that entail what they they need to know about a topic. Then, students could use the various resources to answer and create their poster.

      • I would tend to let the person strongest at writing be the recorded repeatedly, but I think it would be benefitical for students to rotate this job. Doing this with the support of team could increase a students skills and confidence.

      • I don't think a switchboard is necessary for this. If there are set groups then the job could be rotated through the team.
