  • Blogging

    Is the act of creating an active forum or online diary to express individual points of view with an audience via internet.

    • Facebook or followers on Twitter about what they’re reading online. Blogs provide that reading material, and if you’re the one writing it, you can get massive numbers of visitors engaging with your cause or charity as a result.
    • If your website is like a well edited book with content that is often quite static, then a blog is like a magazine or newspaper.

  • Viral Videos

    Are videos put on the internet for massive amounts of people to view and interact with.

    • The term Viral Video has come to be known as many things, but the general term seems to suggest that the content became very popular very quickly.
    • viral content as something people shared instinctively because it means something to them, or they just find it amusing or insightful.

    • Viral Video is a video that is put on a video sharing site, like YouTube, that then begins to spread based on the content.
    • That means that the viewers do all the work for you. They watch the video, think it's cool/funny/informative/awesome, then begin to share it with their friends. In turn their friends find it one of those things and share it with more friends. In the end the video starts racking up millions of views. In other words it spreads like a viral infection from person to person until everyone is immune (isn't interested in the video let's say) or has been infected (watched the video, perhaps more than once). Infection (sharing of the video) is generally done through Share buttons, social networks, email or instant messengers.

    An organized resource of information found on the internet.

  • Moral Literacy

    Skills in making ethical choices and define a basic right from wrong.

    • Moral literacy involves three basic components: ethics sensitivity; ethical reasoning skills; and moral imagination. It is the contention of the author that though math and reading literacy is highly valued by the American educational system, moral literacy is extremely undervalued and under-developed.
    • Design/methodology/approach – In this study the author uses her vast knowledge of moral literacy to break the subject matter into specific and defined sub-categories.

    Is a virtually non existent entity. The more you use and share information on the internet the less privacy you have on the internet.

    • As people use computers for a variety of purposes, confidential information, confidential communications, and personal choices can be registered in a variety of ways. Internet privacy is a broad term referring to the various concerns, technologies, and strategies for protecting information, communications, and choices that are meant to be private.

  • Malware

    Is malicious software, which has the human intent behind it to wreak havoc and steal information through emails, Ims, websites and downloads.

    • Malware is an abbreviated term meaning “malicious software.” This is software that is specifically designed to gain access or damage a computer without the knowledge of the owner.
    • Generally, software is considered malware based on the intent of the creator rather than its actual features. Malware creation is on the rise due to the sheer volume of new types created daily and the lure of money that can be made through organized internet crime.
    • Malware is a category of malicious code that includes viruses, worms, and Trojan horses. Destructive malware will utilize popular communication tools to spread, including worms sent through email and instant messages, Trojan horses dropped from web sites, and virus-infected files downloaded from peer-to-peer connections. Malware will also seek to exploit existing vulnerabilities on systems making their entry quiet and easy.
