Barbara Taylor's List: About my diigo lists

  • What you can find here

As a teacher educator who works with pre- and in-service P-12 teachers, I use diigo to organize Web-based resources that support P-12 teaching and learning with technology.

  • Why I love and use lists

What I like most about diigo as an online bookmarking tool is the ability to create lists. Lists let me organize things together by topic better than tags do because I can arrange the bookmarked links in a preferred order, add section headings, and don't have to remember the exact text I use for tags. I try to consistently use tags too, but I love lists!

I can link directly to a specific list, so for example, if I am planning a lesson or a presentation or just responding to someone curious about a particular topic, I can link directly to the list on that topic. I can also include a particular bookmarked site in more than one list or even include a link to another list in a list.

Enjoy exploring my lists. I have tried to include an "About this list" heading in each one. Remember if a list is long, if you scroll to the bottom, there will be next and previous links to help you navigate and you can have diigo display more items per page.
