    Wikis can be used by teachers and students for collaborative creation and editing of content - not just text, but also embedded images, videos, and other multimedia. The first section below explains how wikis work and gives ideas for using them in teaching and learning. The second section links to a couple of platforms you can use to create free educational wiki spaces.

It's free for academic use by up to 100 students, teachers or parents." Great features including: easy to embed multimedia; easy to see see who changed what and automatically reverse any changes; easy to control access making it private or public and assign roles to users; easy to set up set of student accounts without individual email addresses.
