• American Paranormal bigfoot episode hits it out of the park
• I recorded last night's episodes of American Paranormal from the National Geographic Channel and watched the bigfoot episode just now.  It is outstanding.  If you haven't seen it, make sure to watch it when it repeats.  (You can visit the American Paranormal website here.)
• It made the point that hair samples return as "unknown primate," 
• The show focused on the work done by Bill Munns and Dr. Meldrum.
• and that the Patterson/Gimlin film shows a figure that simply could not be a human in a suit because of body proportions, musculature, and size.
• It's the best presentation I've seen of this evidence, and it was very well done.  You have to watch it.

• Infrasound: A reader shares her experience
• A reader sent along an account of something strange she experienced in California many years ago. While she isn't sure it has anything to do with infrasound, it does have features that are common to other accounts. Have a look:
• One summer evening in the late 1970s-early 80s I was camping at Plaskett with my sister, and we had walked across the road to the picnic area to watch the sunset.
• The place was deserted-- there had recently been a bad landslide a few miles further north that closed the highway for months, so the campground was unusually empty that summer.
• We climbed up on the stile, right by the trailhead, and were gazing out to sea. Everything was tranquil. All there was to hear was the waves breaking on the rocks.
• Then something weird happened.
• It's hard to explain. My sister had noticed an interesting-looking rock and stepped down off the stile to pick it up and look at it. As she did, I remember hearing a noise.
• At the time I thought it might have been an elephant seal, calling out from the rocks offshore, but things became suddenly dreamlike.
• All I was conscious of at the time was a feeling that we weren't alone.
• My sister climbed back up and sat beside me for a minute, but she seemed suddenly uneasy, so we climbed down the other side of the stile and went back to the campground.
• Next morning she said she'd dreamed all night of someone walking round and round our tent, and she felt she had to keep whoever it was out.
• That would have been that, except that when I thought back to sitting on the stile, my memory insisted that I had seen someone standing right there at the trailhead, staring at us, right at the moment I heard the noise.
• The thing in my memory most closely resembled the figure in the Patterson film, but it wasn't remarkably tall, maybe six feet.
• It was partly silhouetted against the sunset but close enough to see its face. The eyes were black and looked human and stared right back at me.
• It was no more than nine or ten feet away. It stood perfectly still. I don't remember any strong smell.
• There wasn't a hostile feeling, but a strong sense that we should leave.
  
• This troubled me for years afterward. If I had consciously seen something like that at the time, I'd have been across the highway and back in our car so fast you couldn't have seen me for the dust.
• Yet the memory of seeing it was incredibly vivid. It still is.
• Years later, my sister and I were talking about the rock she'd found that night (it looked like it might have been an indian artifact, so she'd kept it).
• Very hesitantly, I told her about what I remembered seeing. She was dead silent for a few seconds.
• I asked her if she thought I was crazy and she replied that when I'd told her, she'd experienced the most intense wave of the horrors she'd ever felt.
• She didn't want to think about it or discuss it any further. She had nightmares that night, too.
• My sister is generally fearless and moreover is fascinated by palaeoanthropology, early hominids, Neanderthals, et cetera, so you would think she'd be the last person to have an unreasoning terror of even discussing a possible encounter with an unknown hominid.
• As far as I know there's never been any tradition of Sasquatch sightings in the area.
• Big Sur has plenty of folklore of weird things being seen, little shadow people and the like, but no bigfeet.
• There are plenty of deer in the woods, plenty of salmon in the sea and a lot of creeks with trout in them; there are also a lot of edible plants, berries and the like, so something large could sustain itself.
• But did I actually see something? If I did, why all the weirdness and panic?
• The disorientation, the feeling of someone else being there, the sense that you should leave, and a feeling of fear are all features in bigfoot narratives we attempt to explain with the infrasound hypothesis.
• As we've seen before, we can theorize that bigfoot will use an audible sound as a "startle" mechanism to get the desired outcome from the infrasound, which otherwise can have ambivalent results.

• I'll tell you that upon reading this, I was struck by how much this is like an encounter with what is commonly called a "shadow person."
• There is often times a sense of feeling something in your body (like a low frequency rumble when a car blasts its bass really hard). You look up and catch a glimpse of the shadowperson which is often times pure black and short.
• It startles as if realizing that you just saw it when it's used to not being seen.
• The sensations that accompany the encounter are an overwhelming sense of dread and doom, the feeling of being watched, and nausea, headaches.
• I wonder if these occurrences could actually be senses our body has that we aren't aware of that allows us to know when we might be preyed upon? Perhaps a feature from our ancestor's time.

• Bigfoot - There's something in the woods

• Deep in the forests of North America the locals are spooked.
   Something big is out there, something that destroys trees, something that howls like no other animal ever recorded, something between man and beast.
• Sasquatch, Bigfoot, the missing link, whatever you want to call it, the hunt for this creature has become an international obsession and a conspiracy theory that has captivated the imagination of millions.
• Sound recordings of eerie cries in the night, and a video which appears to show the legendary creature walking through the forests of California, have leant weight to claims that Sasquatch is very real.
• The vast expanse of wild forests between Washington state and California has become a hotbed of hunters searching for this mysterious being, but so far no body has been produced, no DNA sample found, no authentic footage verified.
• Until someone provides a legitimate Sasquatch sample, these theories will remain outside the boundaries of regular science, but that doesn't mean there isn't some truth in them.
• What if this prehistoric primate has survived, what if the thousands of documented encounters with the beast are legitimate, what if the sceptical scientific community is just plain wrong?
• Could we really be on the verge of finding the missing link, or are these hunters simply a deluded, drunken rabble with more guns than common sense?
• The Official Story

    

    

  The modern day mystery began in 1924 with the story of Fred Beck, a woodsman, and his team of hunters as they chased the Sasquatch through an area of Washington State known to locals as Ape Canyon.
• His story was widely reported, and though it has since been written off as an over-exaggerated account of an attack by hikers, it planted the seed of Bigfoot in the imaginations of a generation of Americans.
• In 1958 speculation about the beast reached fever pitch as the international media descended on the small town of Bluff Creek, California, after the discovery of a series of large footprints.
• Casts of the giant prints were shown to TV cameras and newspapers, and soon the whole Pacific Northwest of the US became consumed with the hunt for Bigfoot.
   Though the footprint find would later be widely discredited as a scam devised between a logger and the editor of a local newspaper, Sasquatch became a phenomenon.
• However, it wasn't until 1967 that serious video footage of the creature came to public attention.
   The notorious Patterson film shows a large, hair-covered animal which seems to walk and stand in a way uncommon to any human.
• While many scientists accept that early man may have lived in the same habitat as a giant ape with similar dimensions to Bigfoot, a 8-10 ft tall hairy creature with simian and humanoid characteristics, they utterly reject the suggestion that such a mammal could survive today,
• The case of the bigfoot hunters has not been helped by a string of bogus videos and even fake body finds, which have made it easy for mainstream science to paint them as fringe elements with no concrete evidence for their beliefs.
   But can we be sure that Bigfoot doesn't exist?
• The Conspiracy Theory
• For the past century the woodsmen of the Pacific Northwest USA have searched for the elusive Bigfoot.
   Most are convinced that whatever the giant ape/bear/monster may be, it IS out there. There are more than 400 sightings of the Sasquatch each year, yet still no proof of Bigfoot's existence has come to light.
• The reason, say theorists, for the lack of credible sightings and video evidence is that the creature is nocturnal, unlike most other primates known to science.
• Many theories have been put forward about where the Sasquatch comes from.
   Some indigenous tribes see it as a deity, others fear it as a manifestation of the wrath of satan, while the more extreme conspiracists believe it is an alien sent to earth from another planet.
• The only truly convincing theory, and the one most widely accepted among hunters, is that Bigfoot is the last surviving link in a chain of prehistoric primates.
• The theory runs that the Gigantopithecus, an ape which lived in Asia around 9 million years ago, crossed the land bridge that existed between Russia and Canada and settled in the Northwest region of the US.
   As the species died off, it evolved into the Bigfoot creature that theorists say still stalks the woods today.
• In support of their theory, endless sound recordings, sightings and the occasional blurred tapes have been put forward as evidence.
• - The 1967 Roger Patterson film has never been conclusively debunked. Indeed eminent anthropologist Grover Krantz has argued that it depicts a genuine unknown creature, and Idaho university expert Jeff Meldrum has ruled out the "man-in-a-suit" criticism of the film.
• - In more than 40 years no-one has provided any evidence that the Patterson film involved a suit and despite huge advances in the fields of prosthetics and computer enhancement, no film has ever been able to replicate the alleged costume.
• While fake sightings abound, the number of genuinely mysterious sound recordings and images suggests at least some truth in the Sasquatch theory.
• Cons

    

    

  - There is no fossil data to support the existence of giant apes in North America. No-one has produced a Sasquatch corpse or DNA sample that can support the existence of Bigfoot.
• The climate and habitat of North America is inhospitable to a giant ape similar to the one described in Sasquatch encounters. There is no consistent food source or appropriate climate in the USA for any of the modern species of ape, all of which survive in Asia or Africa.
• The 1958 Bluff Creek footprints were later revealed to be a hoax carried out by researcher Ray Wallace who used a giant wooden carving to make the tracks.
• The Patterson film has never been conclusively proven to show a Sasquatch. Hollywood director John Landis has claimed it was used to test outfits for Planet of the Apes, while stocky Washington native Bob Heironimus claims he wore a suit and posed for the film in exchange for $1,000 which he never received from Patterson. When interviewed by the BBC in 1998, Robert Gimlin, the business partner of Roger Patterson, admitted that his former friend, who died in 1972, could have hoaxed him.
• The sheer number of fakes has made it difficult for genuine theorists to make their views heard. The case of Matt Whitton, the Georgia cop whose fake Sasquatch corpse hoax drew international media attention in 2008 precipitated more ridicule for the already much-maligned bigfoot hunters.
• Conclusion

    

    

  The sceptics have a very strong case on this one. With little or no verifiable proof and nothing but a series of myths and rumours there is no way any serious scientist can honestly claim to be 100 per cent sure that Bigfoot is real. However, in classic conspiracy theory style there is just enough circumstantial evidence, just enough disputed material to make you think that maybe, just maybe this one could be true.
• Nothing is certain until a body is produced or unequivocal video footage is provided, but whatever the truth, one thing is clear, something strange is happening in the woods......

• What Does Bigfoot, The Bible, Hebrew History, DNA and A Powerful Curse All Have in Common?

• Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Yeti, have all been subjects of great debate, scientific and not so scientific research over the last few years.
• Hoaxes plague the legitimate researchers who believe there could possibly be a missing link to our human evolution hiding out in the woods.
• While the evidence the general population is left with, are grainy, fuzzy pictures, plaster casts of indentations in the dirt, and haunting tales of eyewitness accounts of former doubters, now turned into avid believers, which now think that there is an extremely large primate roaming about, with nocturnal habits, a most foul smell, and screeches and screams that would make a hardened exorcist shudder.
• What is a Bigfoot?
• If we were to define it, it would fall under the category of Cryptozoology, the study of hidden animals that haven’t quite been classified yet, or even scientifically discovered.
• There are far too many eye witnesses and many cultures that believe without a doubt these creatures exist.
• The question we would like to ponder here is it an actual animal or some sort of spiritual entity?
• If it is an animal, why is it so elusive, and intelligent? Why does it produce debilitating fear? Why does it solicit such curiosity, in humans? Why does it seem to possess all of the physical qualities of an animal, but yet, we cannot seem to capture or find it with our advanced technology, and encroaching society?
• If it is a spiritual entity: is it demonic?
• Was it created using advanced genetic tampering?
• Could it be a remnant from the Biblical Nephilim/giants?
• Are they shape-shifting-skinwalking Sorcerers or Shamans practicing their dark arts? Is it a Wer-beast/animal?
• Why is it fraught with out-an-out lies, and disinformation campaigns, and the all too popular, society tag of “You are whack-a-do”?
• Men fear to tell of their tales, and encounters because of societies pressure to have it “scientifically proven” before we can believe it.
• True experiencers have dealt with ridicule, and shame, not to mention the entrapping fear, the creature has produced. Why this great fear?
• As an outdoorswoman my entire life, I had many encounters with wildlife; ranging from bears to mountain lions, coyotes, elk, deer, porcupine, skunks, badgers, snakes, and other little snarling critters.
• I spent most of my youth riding horseback, alone; exploring the 10,000 + acres of national and state forest my parents land was adjacent too.
• I was privileged to have had these wild encounters. My favorite past-time in the late fall was to walk along the creek bottoms and go look for bears. Their antics were most amusing if you were downwind.
• Even spending as much time as I did out in the woods, it was sheer luck and chance many times that you spot such common creatures, not to mention their superior camouflage, and their habitat is the woods. I was just an outsider.
• Looking at paranormal phenomenon from a biblical perspective, one has to ask the question; did God address such phenomenal creatures in His Word?
• If you know anything about God, you know that He took serious issue with anyone or anything that tampered with the DNA of anything.
• We find this in such passages as Genesis 1:12 "And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good". ….
• Like produces after like…do not mix animals, or plant crops too closely together so that they cross pollinate.
• Leviticus 19:19 (KJV) "Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woolen come upon thee".
• He knew that hybrid seed of any kind is mostly sterile, or very weak in reproduction, causing unnatural characteristics.
• With that in mind, if you are not familiar with Genesis 6 and the Fallen Angels mating with human females and producing such an abomination as the Nephilim or Giants, then go back and do some homework, because this chapter is the key to unlocking all paranormal mysteries.
• There are some apocryphal texts (Hebraic history) that give us a much better clue as to what was really going on during the fallen angels rebellion, and incitation and provocation of God against mankind, beast and vegetation: in other words creation in general.
• There are a couple of books that best give an intriguing clue into Bigfoot, evolution and other unnatural creatures and encounterees; they are the Book of Job, and the Book of Jasher.
• Before we examine some interesting stories and verses in these books, let’s lay some groundwork for DNA evidence. According to “The Language of God”, the father of sequencing the human genome, scientist; Francis S. Collins:
• “The chimpanzee genomes sequence has now been unveiled, and it reveals that humans and chimps are 96 percent identical at the DNA level….The Human has twenty-three pairs of chromosomes, but the chimpanzee has twenty-four.
• The difference in the chromosome number appears to be a consequence of two ancestral chromosomes having fused together to generate human chromosome 2.
• That the human must be a fusion is further suggested by studying the gorilla and orangutan—they each have twenty-four pairs of chromosomes, looking much like the chimp.” (1)
• Now anyone with a little common sense, and no degree in Genetics can look at a human and chimp/ape/orangutan and realize that quite of bit of information must be contained in that extra chromosome.
• Ninety-six percent is close, but it’s not one-hundred percent. In order to be human, you need to be one-hundred percent human, not ninety-six percent human, and four percent something else.
• The Lord is a Lord of purity, not impurities. But research much like this convinces many people that we somehow are related to the apes, because they are similar.
• The last time I checked, I couldn’t grow hair all over my body, and perform feats of strength enviable by any super soldier, and then there is that whole opposable thumb thing… We are not chimpanzees.
• But, genetic tampering, or transgenics is a different story. With gene splicing technology we are able to produce creatures that in the Greek were called chimeras.
• They in a sense are plugging in code to the human hard drive and seeing how the program runs its course.
• This is where we get tomatoes that are cold hardy because they have been hybridized with cold water flounder fish. We have sheep, pigs and other barnyard critters growing human organs, blood and other essentials to help offset the burgeoning organ donor shortage.
• Great Britain in 2008, made it legal for science to cross humans and animals. Like this was something new? It’s been happening underground, away from the public eye for many, many years.
• If we look strictly at transgenics we can rule out Sasquatch being a part of this modern miracle, at least in the past. Or can we?
• Where have we heard of the mixing of creatures before? Who gave us such knowledge? Or did we just have a quantum leap in brain power just in the last 60 years?
• “I THINK I SAW BIGFOOT, AND HE WAS WEARING A RELIGIOUS MEDALLION!” Jonathan Winters
• Again, go back to Genesis chapter 6, the beginning of the mixing of creatures. We are told in our current Canon that it was just the fallen angels who mated with women.
• But in other historical literature we find out that it was much more than women that they were messing with. This is why God wiped out everything, man, and beast with the flood, they had all been corrupted.
• Josephus the Jewish historian confirms this was common knowledge, in ancient times.
• We have pictographic evidence all over the ancient civilizations, as well as oral and written evidence that confirm such outrageous beasts as winged lions, men with heads of jackals, horses with an upper torso of a man, etc…
• But a certain intelligent deceiver made sure we would never question such beasts, by putting them in the category of myth and legend, he does the same thing today with modern scientific breakthroughs, these dumbed-downed masses couldn’t possibly accommodate in their tiny, consumer driven brains…
• he just changed the label—he no longer calls it myth and legend, but science fiction.
• So let’s go to the Book of Jasher (which is referred to in 2 Samuel 1:18 and Joshua 10:13) and see what it has to say.
• This is a reference to the Genesis 6 Fallen Angels, pre-flood: referring to angels (sons of God) Jasher 1:18 “And their judges and rulers went to the daughters of men and took their wives by force from their husbands according to their choice,
• and the sons of men in those days took from the cattle of the earth, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and taught the mixture of the animals of one species with the other, in order therewith to provoke the Lord;
• and God saw the whole earth and it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted its ways upon earth, all men and all animals.”(2)
• In this statement it was the mixing of the species that provoked the Lord.
• Are we not committing this same abomination today? (Matthew 24:37 “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the son of man be”….things that make you go hmmm.)
• There is another very intriguing verse in the Book of Jasher that in context is talking about the Tower of Babel.
• Evidently there were three divisions, or factions building the Tower, each with their own agenda.
• The first faction received a punishment from God; He turned them into apes and elephants, the second was killed and the third abandoned the Tower and were scattered.
• Jasher 9:35 “And the Lord smote the three divisions that were there, and he punished them according to their works and designs; those who said, We will ascend to heaven and serve our gods, became like apes and elephants;…”(3)
• What on earth? Did God literally turn them into Apes and Elephants?
• We know that the Hindus worship just such a god to this very day; Ganesha, the Lord of Success, is an elephant headed god.
• Muslim Clerics state that Jews are the descendants of apes and pigs. Where did the Muslims get this idea that Jews were descendants from apes?
• I am not aware of any culture that worships Apes, except our very modern western society who accepts Darwinism and evolution as a viable option for Creation.
• Could this verse be the smoking gun that Bigfoot researchers have missed?
• If God really did curse these men, and they were turned into apes, perhaps ape men (a just judgment for the particular god they were worshiping perhaps?) have we, or are we, seeing the descendants of such creatures in the form of a Sasquatch?
• If you do a thorough reading of Jasher, some of these very men may have been giants. Might this explain the DNA evidence of an extra chromosome in certain primates?
• If these creatures and I mean a big IF, are descendants of a cursed faction from the Tower of Babel, would that explain some of the mystery, fear, the spiritual nature they seem to possess? Would they truly not be unique creatures?
• Is there precedence for this kind of thing in the Scriptures?
• What about Nebuchadnezzar? Because of his pride and lack of acknowledgement that the Lord was the giver of his royal authority he was condemned to live like an animal, and even given the mind of an animal for seven years.
• Daniel 5:21 NIV “He was driven away from people and given the mind of an animal; he lived with the wild donkeys and ate grass like cattle; and his body was drenched with the dew of heaven, until he acknowledged that the Most High God is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and sets them over anyone he wishes.”
• But Nebuchadnezzar didn’t stay an animal-like creature because he ended up repenting and acknowledged God as his sovereign. What would have happened to him if he did not repent?
• Seeing these creatures is not new news. Take a look at “The Epic of Gilgamesh”. A story of a Giant king who himself claimed he was two thirds divine and one-third mortal and his Apeman pal—Enkidu.

• According to the story, the goddess Aruru:  

  “Created Enkidu, whose name means “wild man,” offspring of silence, skybolt of Ninurta who protects our herds….Enkidu is the Axe of war.
• His whole body was shaggy with hair, and he had tresses like a woman. His locks grew luxuriant and thick as grain. He knew nothing of people nor life among them. He was naked as the animals. He ate with them. Like the gazelle he grazed. He crouches with cattle to quench his thirst at pools. Living with the wild beasts, he is satisfied.”(4)
• So the story goes that a certain hunter came face to face with this Enkidu.
• “He saw him again on three successive days. The hunter looked at him, dumbstruck. In perplexity he went to his wattle hut and stayed, mute and afraid. He worried and would not leave his hut. His face grew gaunt with fatigue, like that of a man who has traveled too far from home and is exhausted and haunted by grief.” (5)
• How did they catch this wild hairy man? A woman of course!
• A temple prostitute lured him in with her “attractions”, and the story goes that they always did the wild thing (sorry, couldn’t resist the pun).
• Because he had relations with a woman, her smell made the wild animals afraid of him, and poof! He becomes “self-aware”, goes back to the prostitute and she introduces him to the man-god Gilgamesh.
• They have many adventures, Enkidu, ends up marrying a priestess of the abominable goddess of the scriptures; Ishtar.
• “Enkidu, you are a strong man; although you are not of the same womb as I, you are my kin in kind. Shamash in remembrance of these oblations to Shamash. Priestess, devotee, and votaress: Shamash has placed this burden on Enkidu. Enkidu will take a wife from the gods and will bring up daughters of the gods.”(6)
• Enkidu possessed psychic powers, the ability to interpret dreams, and of course super human strength; he did end up dying and his good buddy Gilgamesh mourns greatly for him.
• The Epic of Gilgamesh is said to be the oldest written chronicle in the world, from Sumeria. Is this also more myth and legend?
• Or are many of the great Greek mythological creatures based more on factual creatures, with some embellishment thrown in along the way?
• Does the bible say anything about such interesting creatures…well yes, it does.
• In fact there are many such creatures listed in the bible. One in particular that will have most of you scratching your heads because you have been fed a steady diet of lies, and have fallen victim to an artist’s rendering.
• What creature do I speak? It has four faces; a man, an eagle, a bull, and a lion, four wings, the upper torso of a man and the lower half of a bull.
• Sound like one crazy looking critter doesn’t it? Well maybe you would recognize him if I told you it was an angel, a cherubim to be specific.
• What emotion does it always invoke in humans if it presents itself? Paralyzing fear, uncontrollable trembling, loosing of the bowels, falling face downward in worship, and running away.
• The good or elect angels can be easily identified; they always say; “Do not fear”.
• The baddy’s seem to kind of go for the worship part, and get their jollies off on the instillation of fear.
• Do any of these emotional responses sound familiar to you who have encountered such a wild beast out in the woods?
• Could there be a connection?
• Enkidu was after all a product of the gods (fallen angels).
• The bible does describe two different kinds of beasts in the scriptures; wild beasts and evil beasts.
• God says “the wild beasts of the field are mine.” Psalm 50:11, KJV The distinction in the Hebrew is: H2123 zees, an abundant moving creature , which means regular animals.
• Also in scripture we see the term evil beast. “And I will rid evil beasts out he land.” Leviticus 26:6, KJV
• H7451-rah, raw-aw'-From H7489; bad or (as noun) evil (naturally or morally). This includes the second (feminine) form; as adjective or noun: - adversity, affliction, bad, calamity, + displease (-ure), distress, evil ([-favouredness], man, thing), + exceedingly, X great, grief (-vous), harm, heavy, hurt (-ful), ill (favoured), + mark, mischief, (-vous), misery, naught (-ty), noisome, + not please, sad (-ly), sore, sorrow, trouble, vex, wicked (-ly, -ness, one), worse (-st) wretchedness, wrong. [Including feminine ra’ah; as adjective or noun.] (7)
• H7489-raw-ah'-A primitive root; properly to spoil (literally by breaking to pieces); figuratively to make (or be) good for nothing, that is, bad (physically, socially or morally). (associate selves and show self friendly are by mistake for H7462.): - afflict, associate selves [by mistake for H7462], break (down, in pieces), + displease, (be, bring, do) evil (doer, entreat, man), show self friendly [by mistake for H7462], do harm, (do) hurt, (behave self, deal) ill, X indeed, do mischief, punish, still vex, (do) wicked (doer, -ly), be (deal, do) worse. • If there is no difference between a wild beast and an evil beast, how come one is just your common run of the mill critter, who God claims for himself, and the other, he wants to rid from the land?
• And He uses such terms as ‘naturally and morally’ evil? How can a regular critter be morally corrupt? Moral values are not usual attributes we ascribe to animals.
• Next we see a reference to “wild men” in the book of Job:
• Job 30:3-8 KJV For want and famine they were solitary; fleeing into the wilderness in former time desolate and waste. Who cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots for their meat. They were driven forth from among men, (they cried after them as after a thief;) To dwell in the cliffs of the valleys, in caves of the earth, and in the rocks. Among the bushes they brayed; under the nettles they were gathered together. They were children of fools, yea, children of base men: they were viler than the earth.
• Here is a rough translation of key words in this verse from the Hebrew: The word solitary means sterile, or to fold together.
• They were expelled or divorced from among men with an alarmed cry after them because of some deception, stealth, and thievery.
• The term to bray; means to scream, they were sons in a broad sense of the term, which were stupid, wicked, and vile, that somehow “fell away”.
• They were from men who were men of destruction, corruption, marked, or distinguished, viler; to smite or drive away. (9)
• When you read this verse in context it seems very out-of-place, like Job is comparing the men who are no longer giving him the honor and position due to him, to some sort of very debase, sub-human creature. If I didn’t know any better; it sounds like he is describing a cave-man.
• What could these wild men have done?
• So these men were corrupted and marked somehow, they were driven from society, doesn’t sound like they communicate well, (scream), they live in the backcountry as animals, and they were wicked and vile.
• A son of destruction is often a term used of demonic influence.
• I am not sure what to make of that.
• Are there anymore references to other crypto zoological animals in the scriptures?
• How about the locusts spoken of in Revelation 9? They looked like horses, had human looking faces, women’s hair, lion’s teeth, wings, and tails…
• Oh, and guess what? These “evil beasts” have another evil Creature as overlord to them: Abbadon, who was a— you guessed it…a fallen Cherub.
• Oh, it gets better, Revelation 9:13 describes another type of horrid creature: horses with breastplates of red, blue, and yellow, with the head of a lion, out of their mouth came fire and smoke, and their tails were like snakes.
• This ancient creature matches the Persian mythological creature the Manticore. Metaphorical—I’m sure.
• There are plenty of other stories that describe incredible creatures which can only be explained by some sort of intelligent genetic tampering, all with the all-too-familiar; it scared the hell out of whoever saw it.
• From the Book of Jasher 36:31-32
• This poor guy: Anah, lost his herd of donkeys and went looking for them… “And afterward about one hundred and twenty great and terrible animals came out from the wilderness at the other side of the sea, and they all came to the place where the asses were, and they placed themselves there.
• And those animals from their middle downward, were in the shape of the children of men, and from their middle upward, some had the likeness of bears, and some the likeness of the keephas, with tails behind them from between their shoulders reaching down to the earth, like tails of the ducheephath, and these animals came and mounted and rode upon these asses, and took them away, and they went away unto this day.
• And one of these animals approached Anah and smote him with his tail, and then fled from that place. And when he saw this work he was exceedingly afraid of his life, and he fled and escaped to the city.” (10)
• Bigfoot, creatures, wild men, evil beasts, hybrids, cursed men, what are we to make of all this?
• Are we any closer to the answers to our questions? I know when I start to look at something from a biblical perspective, rather than just strictly an esoteric or secular approach I walk away with the feeling that I am closer to wisdom and understanding.

• BENA, Minn. - Bigfoot alive and living in northern Minnesota?  The co-founders of the Northern Minnesota Bigfoot Society say, "100 percent yes." 
• 
• They said they  have received more than 75 reports of sightings, captured images, and Bigfoot footprints in just three years.
• They're sharing their insight while sorting fact from fiction as they take KSAX on the hunt for Bigfoot.
• "I'm a skeptic of Bigfoot because I've trapped this whole area and never, ever did we see any Bigfoot tracks or see Bigfoot anywhere," William Tucker of Bena said.
• Long time trapper William Tucker is anything but a believer, but just miles away from Bena, mind boggling footprints were found.
• Each track was a bit different, different pressures, different depths, eliminating the possibility of some sort of footprint stamp.
• This is just one of the things the co-founders of the Northern Minnesota Bigfoot Society say confirms the fact, Bigfoot is out there.
• "I'm 110% convinced that it exists. There's just too much evidence, too many people's emotions showing when they recount their stories," Bob Olson, a co-founder of the Northern Minnesota Bigfoot Society said.
• "One lady cries when she recounts her story of how this thing stood up and looked at her. She felt it looked into her soul."

• Since 2006, Olson and Don Sherman have received about 75 reports of similar Bigfoot sightings in Northern Minnesota, some of which have been captured on camera.
• The most recent was captured in Remer. Though to some, the image may look like a man in a suit, a comparison with 6 foot 5 inch Bob Olson showed this man would have had to have been at least 7 feet tall.
• Sherman and Olson say "wood knocking" is just one more way Bigfoot makes his presence known. Olson said Bigfoot responded to him at Carey Lake when he knocked on a tree five times.
• What about bones? One KSAX reader says,  "I believe Bigfoot is 100% real, as are a lot of the other creatures of Cryptozoology.
• But i believe in their true form, they are spiritual creatures, that manifest in flesh as they so desire. That is why we will never find bones, or other such evidence of them."
• On the other side of the coin, Olson says giant bones belonging to Humanoid creatures were found in the late 1800's, stretching 10 to 12 feet.
• While there haven't been any Bigfoot skeletons found, many trappers say they've never come across any bear, wolf, or other large animal skeleton either.
• Other signs Bigfoot exists include branches plucked straight out of trees, strange looking shelters, and stick men to warn other Bigfoot of humans in the area.
• "When there's stuff that doesn't go away, there's gotta be something to it and the evidence just keeps mounting up," Olson said.
• For some Bena residents, the legend of Bigfoot is far from a tall tale.
• "I never seen it, but like I says I believe in it," New Prague resident Leo Hinderscheid said.

• East Texans recall encounters with Bigfoot
• For years, people have claimed sightings of a large, human-like creature in the thick woods of East Texas.
• About 300 people recently gathered in Tyler for a Bigfoot Conference to share their personal confrontations with the creature.
• Speaker Daryl Colyer, who claims to have had an encounter with the beast, said he heard the legends and stories from families when he was growing up.
• Colyer’s own encounter with Bigfoot occurred near the Trinity River in Liberty County. He and his wife were walking along a trail at dusk when they spotted a large, hairy figure with a musky smell.

  • Liberty Co, Texas is also where not long ago, civilian airplanes encountered UFOs or what some crew and passengers described as a missile, coming straight at them. Any connection?

• Here are some other sightings of Bigfoot-type creatures in East Texas:
• In 2003, a motorist spotted an 8-foot-tall creature crossing Texas Highway 154 near Harleton and Little Cypress Bayou.
• In December 2001, a deer hunter near Marshall saw a 7-foot upright ape-like figure that was dark brown in color. The figure was picking up apples.
• In October 1995, a man was looking at land he was considering buying near Cleveland when he saw a creature lying on the ground. The creature rose on two legs and hit the man in the chest.
• In June 1976 near Vidor, a couple moved out of their house because they had enough of Bigfoot sightings in the area.
• In Summer 1976, a witness reported seeing a 12-foot-tall creature with silver hair eating ears of corn near Hallsville.
• Not all of the Bigfoot sightings have turned out to be accurate.
• In his book “The Search for Bigfoot,” Peter Byrne wrote about a man who claimed to have seen a Bigfoot creature standing with his back to the man, streaked in gray and black hair, huge, broad-shouldered and bent over.
• When Byrne investigated, he discovered the man had seen nothing but a roadside stump.
• For more than 400 years, people have been reporting large, hair-covered, manlike animals in wilderness areas of North America. Sightings of the creatures and their tracks continue today.

• A Sasquatch Watch of Virginia group found strange markings on the ground in Spotsylvania last weekend.

• Hunting for the elusive Sasquatch is difficult enough, but rain makes it even harder.
• Billy Willard, 41, the director of the Manassas-based Sasquatch Watch of Virginia, said the din of rain makes it impossible to hear anything else.
• And the rain keeps animals--even Bigfoots--under shelter.
• On Saturday, Willard and four other Sasquatch researchers were on 96 acres in the Lake Anna area, connected to 3,000 acres of mostly forests.
• Willard said there have been a lot of sightings in this region, especially in Culpeper County.
• In Spotsylvania County, a man, a woman and a teenager reported spotting what appeared to be a Sasquatch in May 2009. They were about 300 yards away before it ran--fast.
• "When I say running, well, all I can explain is it looked like it was on ice skates," said the woman.
• She asked that her name and exact location not be revealed because too often ridicule follows those who say they've seen Bigfoot; she also wants to protect adjoining property owners.
• "If he lives here, and I think he does, it is smarter than a dog and dogs are smart animals," said the man who also reported seeing the creature that day.
• Don't even try telling them that it was a bear.
• "I've been in the woods since I was 5 years old; I know what a bear looks like," the woman said.
• Her suspicions rose again in January when she heard a crazy noise in the woods that sounded like recordings she has heard on Bigfoot Internet sites.
• "To me, the sound of hearing this thing was scarier than seeing it," she said. "It started with a low rumble and ended in a high-pitch scream."
• The woman said she found Willard's website and invited him to the property. He's come back a half-dozen times.
• Last month, he directed a weeklong Bigfoot expedition at the Spotsylvania site with five separate research groups.

• The group heard strange Bigfoot-like sounds and filmed with a night-vision camera something very tall with red eyes.
• Two other researchers reported something shook their Jeep. A footprint impression behind the vehicle was cast.
• "The eyes on the videotape, that was pretty impressive," Willard said.
• But last weekend, the rain caused problems and it stopped the hunt early. The group got there at about 4 p.m. Saturday and stayed past midnight.
• The only discovery that day was what appeared to be a large footprint near a pond.
• Researchers like Willard often do their work with little fanfare. The full-time environmental engineer does not get paid for his Bigfoot research. He often gets tips and invitations through his website. He has been to at least nine states and has returned with plaster casts of a few different footprints.
• His most frightening experience was in Paris, Texas, in 2007. The experience was so surreal that Willard thought it was a nightmare.
• He felt something grab him and he tussled with the creature for a few minutes while in his tent.
• "I could feel nothing but thick hair on whatever this was," he said. "My hand didn't fit around the limb and I balled up my fist and hit it."
• Not much high-tech equip- ment is necessary for expeditions. Researchers use night-vision game cameras and goggles and PA systems to broadcast Bigfoot calls and babies crying, which apparently creates a lot of action in the forest when played.
• There is also a lot of waiting, which leads to researchers sharing stories over a campfire about favorite trips, that often end up fruitless.
• "There's no certification for this except a mental institution and an empty checkbook," Willard joked.

• My aunt and my cousin both supposedly saw bigfoot on Spruce Fork Rd in Buckhannon (Upshur Co.), WV.
• Both claimed that the creatures they have seen were certainly not human, and not like any type of animal they have ever seen.
• They live in a very wooded, country area with many wild animals, and still, they have yet to seen anything similar. My cousin saw this creature just today of March 1, 2010. They are very credible individuals.
• ALSO NOTICED: The animal was standing by the road on two legs. It stared at her, very close to the vehicle with animal eyes that were oddly intelligent seeming.
• OTHER WITNESSES: two, mother and daughter had separate sightings. The daughter spotted the same creature in the same area, on March 1, 2010.
• OTHER STORIES: Yes, many. Neighbors hear strange howls all year.

• Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Stephen Willis:
• I spoke to the actual witness at length 3/10/10. She reported the incident occurred in early September 2009.
• She was not sure of the actual date. She was driving alone at night going home.
• The animal was standing near a curve in the road at the end of a long straight.
• The headlights illuminated not a deer but a bipedal creature covered in brown hair standing off the road.
• Eyes reflecting like cat eyes made her slow down nearing the curve.
• The road was a single lane, giving her a very good look from about 10 feet away.
• It was over six feet tall, exactly how tall could not be estimated. She thought it was standing on the slope of the ditch, so it could have been between 6 and 7 feet tall.
• It watched her drive past. She was certain they made eye contact and reported it exposed its teeth, in either a smile or warning display.
• The teeth were all pointed, looking much like a mouth full of canine incisors.
• She reported the face was not hair covered. It looked sort of human, with a wide nose, but not gorilla like.
• The skin color was dark-not black. she described seeing an Eskimo once on TV who had the same skin tone.
• The eyebrows were very bushy. The nostrils were flared.
• The animal watched her drive by until out of sight. She thought it turned its head, not pivoting its upper body as in some other sighting reports.
• She got the impression it was intelligent.
• She did not feel threatened until after passing the creature. Once clear of the immediate area, a strong sense of fear overcame her.
• March 1, 2010, a second sighting within ½ mile of the first one.
• This time the daughter of this original witness had a sighting of what seemed to be the same creature. Her sighting was during daylight hours.
• I advised the witness and her husband to look at the BFRO website at their first opportunity.
• During the conversation about the website, I mentioned there are recordings of howls and whoops from other areas.
• She asked if I could describe the whooping sound. I vocalized two examples for her and she reported they have heard those sounds during the fall and winter.
• Her husband overheard my vocalization and immediately said, “That's it!”
• This level of detail and fluidity of conversation leads me to believe she was describing a living creature previously unknown to her.

• Constant Sasquatch watch held in Honobia

• HONOBIA - The stories are as alluring as the Kiamichi Mountains from which they spring.
• Gigantic footprints embedded in the soil. Unfamiliar moans and shrills emanating from the forest. Hairy, ape-like creatures darting across remote creeks and roads.
• Such accounts are told by seasoned woodsmen, reared on a lifetime of stalking wild game in the mountain ranges that surround their homes. Such accounts also are told by second- and third generation loggers who are as hardened and rugged as the terrain they work.
• Most, but not all, are reluctant to share their experiences. No one wants to be ridiculed for relating the unexplained things they have seen or heard.
• So, few admit they have encountered Bigfoot.
• And yet stories of close encounters with this legendary creature keep tumbling into the mountain hideaway of Honobia like a never-ending rockslide.
• “There is something out there,” said Harold Yates, a Honobia resident who retired last week after 30 years with the state Forestry Services. “I don’t know what it is, but something is definitely out there.”
• Yates hears the stories frequently from neighbors who trust he won’t laugh at their accounts. Yates would never think of laughing.
• He is still puzzled by experiences he had five years ago while building a log cabin on Little River, a main waterway that snakes through the valley cradling Honobia.
• One day Yates was cutting planks on his saw, listening to the piercing sound of wood colliding with a saw blade.
• He says that’s when he heard a creature seemingly answer him in a deafening sound that mocked his sawing.
  
• On another occasion, in the stillness of night, Yates heard large rocks being slammed into the river below his cabin. The crashing sound continued for 40 minutes and unnerved his family.
• “I don’t know what could have made those sounds,” said the soft-spoken Yates, 51. “That’s the trouble. I don’t know anything that can make those noises.
• Logger Randall Wright, 43, tells of tracks he saw in the woods: “They were 151/4 inches long, 7 inches wide - with five toes.”
• “I know Bigfoot is out there,” said Wright, born and raised in Honobia. Whispering, Wright adds with a devilish grin, “And if I see it, I’m going to shoot it, too.”
  
  Wright is serious. He carries a loaded rifle in his truck at all times.
  
• He is far from alone in a valley where Bigfoot sightings and strange experiences also have been reported in the neighboring communities of Nashoba, Octavia, Ludlow and Watson.
• Yates is left with speculation and wonder.
• The Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, which maintains a national database of purported sightings, has collected 58 such testimonials in Oklahoma since 1971.
• Nineteen of those eyewitness accounts came from the Kiamichi Mountains, which encompasses vast stretches of timberland in parts of Le Flore, Pushmataha and McCurtain counties.
• Honobia sits on the Le Flore-Pushmataha county line - literally.
  
  “On one side of the street is Pushmataha County,” explained Honobia’s postmaster Karen Pierce, 41. “Cross the street and you’re in Le Flore County. Funny, huh? ... But I love it here. It’s so beautiful.”
  
• Honobia’s beauty is matched only by its remoteness. Residents, some of whom received electricity for the first time in 1952, drive 16 miles to the nearest gas station and 20 miles to the nearest ATM.
  
  A trip to a grocery store could be anywhere from 55 to 70 miles, depending on which direction one travels. If they drive east on State Highway 144, they are traveling on the last unpaved highway in the state.
  
• “There’s only one thing wrong with Honobia,” said Garland Cogburn, a Honobia resident who lives on Little River. “We’re just so far from anything. Other than that, this place is perfect.”
  
• Honobia is nestled in the heart of the Honobia Creek Wildlife Management Area, which includes 130,000 acres of commercial timberland thick with cedar, oak, box elder, and pine trees.
• Wild hogs, bear, deer, and panthers are some of the animals that roam its rugged terrain.
• The land is owned by two private forest investment companies - the Hancock Natural Resources Group and Renewable Resources, LLC. - and is managed by the State Wildlife Conservation Department in a unique partnership.
• The vastness of the forest is mindboggling; remote enough for a man to wander into and disappear forever. Or, as some would claim, immense enough for an unknown species to live with virtually no detection.
• A Bigfoot shooting?
• Honobia’s stature as Bigfoot territory grew in January 2000 when a local woodsman named Tim Humphreys claimed he shot at a Bigfoot in the woods behind his home.
• Humphreys’ encounter was documented by the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, which sent investigators to interview Humphreys and set up a surveillance at his home.
• Investigators learned the shooting culminated two years of alleged terror by “at least one Bigfoot,” which had been prowling his property at night.
  
• The avid Honobia hunter said the creature was stealing deer meat from an outbuilding freezer. As time passed, the creature became bolder by tapping on windows and even jiggling doorknobs.
• “Tim and his family were genuinely terrified by this Bigfoot,” said Wright, the logger. “And I have no reason not to believe him ... He saw it and he was armed to the teeth. He had loaded guns on the porch and in the house - everywhere. He had floodlights all around his house.
• “He had just had enough.”
• Humphreys told investigators he shined a light into the face of a charging Bigfoot and fired his assault rifle at the massive creature from 70 yards away. The Bigfoot retreated into the woods and cut loose with eerie wails.
  
  Soon, similar sounds were coming from other nearby creatures.
• “Tim told me they were talking to each other in all kinds of grunts and gibberish,” Wright said.
• “Tim said he was afraid to run in there after it.
• The next morning I went to the spot where the Bigfoot ran and I personally saw blood splattered on trees 9 feet high for about 200 yards. That’s where it was carried away by two other Bigfoots.
• “A logger told Tim later he was driving down the road with his truck when he saw two of these creatures carrying a third one across the road. He turned his truck around six times on that road because he couldn’t believe what he was seeing.”
  
• The logger, like much of the physical evidence from that night, disappeared.
• A heavy rain the next day washed away any traces of blood, and Bigfoot investigators found nothing more than a mutilated deer in the vicinity where the Bigfoot supposedly fell.
• Even the Humphreys vanished abruptly, leaving refrigerated food and furniture in their wake.
• Neighbors tell conflicting stories about the family’s whereabouts.
• “Tim just grew tired of people laughing and he quit talking,” said Charla Wright, Randall’s wife.
• “I know this: Tim’s wife was terrified and she wouldn’t go back to that home after what she saw. And I believe her. I believe they saw a Bigfoot.”
• Television media crews and print journalists soon began appearing in Honobia, leaving a legacy of their own with campy or playful reports that made locals feel embarrassed.
  
• “People will make fun of you,” Yates explained. “I know I’ll never go on camera again.”
• A legacy of encounters
• The sensational ordeal told by the Humphreys actually was a new twist on an old story around Honobia, where Bigfoot sightings date back hundreds of years.
• Choctaw elders who lived in the region have been telling legends of mammoth, hairy creatures roaming the Kiamichi Mountains for generations.
• Charlene Cusher, a Choctaw from nearby Watson, remembered hearing one such story from her grandparents. They spoke of a little boy who wandered into the forest and got lost.
  
  “When they found the boy he was fine,” said Cusher, 54. “He said ‘that thing’ took care of him, referring to the creature ... As for me, I’d have to see it to believe it were true.”
  
• Fellow Choctaw Billy Ludlow of Honobia became a staunch believer in Bigfoot 54 years ago at age 11 when he encountered a gigantic, bipedal creature on Little River.
• Ludlow and two playmates were goofing around one Sunday night after church when they heard metal beams snapping on the unfinished bridge above.
• “I looked up and saw this large, hairy animal stand up on two legs like a man,” said Ludlow, 65. “I’d guess it to be 9 or 10 feet tall with broad shoulders and hair all over.
• I was always the slowest runner among my friends. But on that night, I was the fastest.”
• “We ran to my grandmother’s cabin and slammed the door shut. It was chasing us. Something came and pushed the door two or three times, and then went away. I know they are out there.”
• The proof?
  Proof of Bigfoot’s existence in these mountains - or at least proof of an unknown animal - might be on the way.
  
• Ludlow hunter Odell Rose recently collected a fistful of fine, woolly brown hair on a tree he couldn’t match to any known animals in the region. The foul-smelling hair intrigued Rose so much he has sent it to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization for DNA testing.
  
• Rose, 65, said he doesn’t believe in Bigfoot.
• “Odell and I have lived up here for 20 years,” said LaVelle Rose, 53. “We used to ride mules and horses all over these mountains, and we’ve never seen anything like a Bigfoot. My husband is one of those hard-core people who doesn’t believe in much. He’s from the old school.
• “But he’s never seen any hair like this before. He’d like to know what it is.”

• And these “myths” and legends still continue, as most cultures have similar giants in their legends and folklore.
• Many tales about Bigfoot are impressively similar, for example, many members of the Lummi tribe describe the creature’s diet as well as the creature’s activities, which only slightly differ among the members and local tribes.
• Some have described Bigfoot as a creature that caries people off and then feeds on them, others have stated that the Bigfoot are a group of cannibalistic wild men and some term the Bigfoot as supernatural being.
• But far and large, Bigfoot/Sasquatch is known around the world as a actually giant ape/human like animal.
• Bigfoot has many different names which have been derived from various tribes, cultures and each community has its own local version of the creature, but are all based around the concept of a hairy man, ape man or wild man.
• Many locals around the Bluff Creek area for example have “witnessed” the Bigfoot, its foot prints and have had these foot prints casted and despite these casts it is still maintained that Bigfoot is a myth by skeptics.
• By the way, for the United States, Bluff Creek is where it all started for Bigfoot in our country. The Patterson Film (PGF) made Bigfoot a celebrity and set off the Bigfoot paranormal craze here in the US.
• Most claimed Bigfoot sightings have been reported from the Pacific Northwest and many in and around North America although Bigfoot is a worldwide phenomenon!
• There are sightings here in the US as far back to 1924, where miners claimed that they were attacked by the Bigfoot.
• And after writing a book on the incident, it was thought that these ape like creatures were from another planet and that these miners had experienced psychic encounters.
• Many scientists have compared the Bigfoot castes to that of bear foot prints and yet others claim there were no comparisons found among the footprints.
• Various scientists claim that the creature seen and verified as the Bigfoot is nothing more than bears that have a serious case of mange.
• Yet Bigfoot field researchers state that they have definitely seen juvenile species and have taken pictures to prove their sightings, which have now proved to Bigfoot believers that this is not a bear, as the creature looked more human than bear.
