Teachers could use this to show videos, and stories about famous people in history among other things. Teachers can also choose the appropriate grade levels, and look on the "student activities" for ideas in the classroom.
This website zeros in on the branches of government, and the different roles that each branch has. The site allows students to place the facts on the correct branches. This is an awesome Smart Board activity, and is a great way to keep all of the students engaged in the educational activities about the government.

It starts with the option of a pre test and then the website will teach anything that the student answered incorrectly. This website does require membership for major activities, but $20 for one year of access is well worth it.
