1. Jesus started his ministry after John the Baptist was arrested by Herod Antipas, not in Judea, but in Galilee. Jesus preached the Good News from God and the message was the same as John's " The right time has come, and the Kingdom of God is near! Turn away from your sins and believe in the Good News !" (1:14~15)
2. The first incidence of Jesus's preaching reported was in the synagogue of Capernaum on a Sabbath. (1:21~22)
Using Capernaum as a base, Jesus "must go to the villages round here. I have to preach in them also, because that is why I came"
So he travelled all over Galilee .... (1:38~39)
