The stories of Greek mythology have been passed down from generation to generation, some of which have been converted into movies. Yes, this is yet another remake but did Louis Leterrier do the story justice? I think he did a great job remaking The Incredible Hulk, so I figured I'd give him a chance and watch the movie myself.

I'm sure that you've heard of Sherlock Holmes, but have you seen the latest movie? We live in a time of remakes and although it seems that, on average, there isn't much new creativity stirring in terms of new stories and ideas people do seem to be able to add new twists and takes on old stories to bring them up to date and make them easier to "consume".

If you're into action movies, just hearing the name Ninja Assassin should spark some interest for you with this movie. A lot of martial arts movies have been a bit cheesy and over the top but I think that James McTeigue did a good job at keeping those of us who enjoy realism still interested. This is a very bloody tale of revenge with a bit of love.
