This website is educational and offers many resources for successful record keeping. It is designed for use by professioinals within the Health Information Management field, but could also be used by the general public as a learning tool.

This is the American Health Information Management Association's Journal Publication. It is written by the AHIMA and is designed for the use of Health Information Managment Professionals. This Journal is designed to make HIM professionals aware of any changes with rules, regulations, coding practices and current issues within the HIM field.

George C. Halvorson, is the chairman and chief executive officer of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc., and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals. His facilicities recieved the highest award honors from the HIMSS. This site contains a news article that discusses the achievements of The Kiser foundation and explains what they did to earn such high honors. This article is designed to inform Health Infomation Management Professionals and the public about the standards of Health Information Management and those facilities that excell in maintaining those standards. I don't believe that the Kiser Foundation would have been able to excell and recieve these honors without a great leader, and that is why I have choosen George C. Halvorson as a captain of industry for the Health Information Management field.
