    • ****TRIGGER WARNING: DEATH AND SELF HARM MENTIONED****
    • So, I have a question: what different kinds of alters can you have in terms of role and personality? Something that provoked me to ask about that is all the recent threads about or from alters wanting to self harm or kill the host.

    • My mind is going insane. It's been this way all week because I knew I was going to go see my dad this weekend. So everything started freaking out.
    • I knew, I Knew, that it was a bad idea that it wasn't going to go well. There was a "part" that said don't go. don't go.
But He's my dad and it's my little brother.

    • Two dissociative disorders that may be confused with each other are dissociative identity disorder and dissociative fugue. Although the two disorders have distinctive symptoms and signs that differentiate them from one another, there are many similarities that can lend to the confusion between the two disorders (Butcher, Mineka, & Hooley, 2012).
    • Some similarities between the two disorders include no recall of identity, assuming another identity, and disruption of the individual’s life (American Psychiatry Association, 2000; Butcher et al., 2012). The individual acts as though they are a completely different person than their true identity, and behaviors change as a result (Butcher et al., 2012).

    • Maybe ***Trigger Warning***
    • I hate Host's T. She doesn't acknowledge that we are real. She just thinks we're voices in her head. I hate her. It makes me want to die because if we aren't real, why are we still living? If we aren't real, then why are we here?
