A book outlining history of Australian conservation movement as a political force from its inception to 1990s. Seems to have good reviews. Available only in print edition.
2006 ABC Late Night Live interview with William Lines who wrote "Patriots: Defending Australia's Natural Heritage" on the history of the conservation in post-war australia. MP3 download available worldwide. Conducted by the razor sharp Phillip Adams.
Warwick Frost of Monash University review of Hutton and Connors "A history of the Australian environment movement" (1999) which also lists previous publications on the matter.
A fabulous website linking Australian and New Zealand materials/news on environmental history (it apparently is a separate discipline in history these days). Melbourne's La Trobe Uni and Canberra's The Australian National University both seem to have thriving departments.
