This gives examples of ink patterns and textures to display on the SMARTboard. I will use this for my 6th grade ink texture project. Students will use the textures for backgrounds and details for their animals drawings.

This site shows a nice example of figure sculpture in chronological order. I would use this with my seventh graders who do a figure sculpture. I would use the Ancient Egyptian King and Queen, Greek Kore, Chinese Soldiers, and some of the modern pieces to illustrate how art was used in history and how it is used today. This could be used to allow students to reflect on what we have learned on the last day of art class. Students would create a Word document about the art projects they created and any words or feeling they wanted to use to describe them. They could then paste it in Wordle. This list is for Finding the Best Educational Websites. These are websites that I would use in my art classes for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. I focused many of my resources on 8th grade's optical illusion project. There are so many vibrant examples of art to show on the SMART board.
