First of all, it’s hard to make a list of the most popular music artists of all time. There are many things to be put into consideration such as record sales, trending time, music genre, music videos etc. However, we’ve been able to come up with a list of ten most popular music artists as follows:

The Beatles, made up of Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, are the Fab Four that changed the course of music history. They are definitely the greatest musical group of all-time. The Beatles was established in Liverpool in the early 1960’s and a lot of their songs were written by McCartney and Lennon.

2. Elvis Presley - 1 billion records sold

Elvis Presley is known as “The King”. He made Rock and Roll popular in the mid 1950’s and was made the face of Rock and Roll in the late 50’s. He is the cultural icon and was very popular until his death in the 70’s.

3. Michael Jackson - 750 million records sold

Michael Jackson is known popularly as the King of Pop. He started his career in the early 70's as a member of a group with his brothers known as the Jackson 5. Later he went solo and released several albums, some of which became hit tracks. He also has one of the most popular music videos.
