Month Stickers

from web site

As a new parent, you're probably too rushed for time to record your baby's progress and development.  Before you realize it, your little bundle of joy is all grown up and taking their first steps. It is easy to miss recording those precious moments between bringing them home from the hospital and sending them off to school!

A great new idea is the baby month sticker.  It is a set of stickers that can be pasted onto your baby's onesie, t-shirt, diaper, towel, etc. and it gives the baby's age in months. You have a different sticker for every month of baby's first year.  All you have to do is peel off the correct one, stick it on baby's outfit and click a keepsake photo. You could then upload the picture on your social networking site, blog or online family tree. Or you could create a greeting card or banner, add it to your scrapbook, print it on calendars, placemats, coffee mugs, t-shirts, baby's linen, etc. Finally, at the end of the year, you can compile all the photos and make a lovely collage that goes up on the wall in baby's room.

Super Duper

Apart from being a delightful and fun way to watch and record your baby's growth, this is also important in terms of checking that baby's developmental milestones are occurring at the right time. It is crucial to pay attention to these milestones to ensure that your baby is in good  physical health. For example, you need to alert your pediatrician if your baby fails to sit up after six months.

Month stickers are available in a huge variety of designs, colors and patterns. If you're a traditionalist, you could opt for the conventional blue for boys and pink for girls theme with the appropriate themes like cars & trucks, animals or sports for boys and flowers, unicorns or lace designs for girls. Bright primary colors look great in photos and neutral colors are ideal if you prefer something that will not clash with baby's onesies. The best part of these stickers is that you can peel them off and throw them away after you're done with the photo session. No need to wonder what to do with a pile of unusable onesies that have permanent iron-on transfers or sewn on decals.

Your baby photos will give your family and friends much joy, especially if they're far away and can’t watch your baby grow month-to month. Babies grow at a surprisingly fast rate, with enormous changes each month. Some parents take pictures of baby with a month sticker stuck on, along with a inanimate object and they use that object every month to show how much baby has grown in relation to it.
