January 13, 2005, Deseret News, Letters, Cultural chasm is self-created, by Doug Dansie, 

Helen Radkey (Readers' Forum, Jan. 11) suggests there is a cultural "chasm" in Utah. She argues that the divide will continue until the LDS Church thinks and behaves exactly as she wishes it to. Of course, there is no cause for reflection on her own part. It is their fault, which pretty much explains why the divide exists.The good news is those who wish to get along will continue to do so.
