RAJNEESHPURAM, Ore., Dec. 27— The daughter of Representative Leo Ryan, who was slain in 1978 while investigating the Peoples Temple religious cult, was married here today at the ranch of the guru she follows.

Shannon Ryan, 30 years old, known as Ma Prem Amrita Pritam, married Peter Waight, 37, known as Swami Anand Subhuti.

Both are followers of the Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, who lives with followers on a ranch outside Antelope in north-central Oregon.

''We're here to forget the tragedy'' of Jonestown, said Ma Anand Sheela, who performed the ceremony. One bottle of champagne at the wedding was labeled, ''With Bhagwan, even Kool-Aid becomes champagne,'' a phrase she used in the ceremony.

The reference was to a grape-flavored, cyanide-laced drink used in a mass murder-suicide ritual by more than 900 followers of the Rev. Jim Jones in Jonestown, Guyana, just hours after Mr. Ryan, Democrat of California, and four others were killed in an ambush.
