IPL 2025 Captains to meet in Mumbai on March 20
On Thursday, March 20, the ten team captains and managers of the Indian Premier League 2025 teams will be hosted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The meeting is scheduled for approximately one hour and will take place at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai.
The teams will be updated on the new additions and modifications for the forthcoming season during this period. Sponsor events at the Taj Hotel will take place after the briefing.
The event will finish with the traditional captains' picture session before the start of each season, following the sponsored events. The season's first game between the reigning champion Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will take place at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
In the past, the event was typically held in the city where the first encounter was played. Changes have been made this time, though, suggesting that there may be more planned than a simple meet and greet.
