Friendly's Build A Burger Claim: Act 1

I plan to use this for a 7th Grade "Three-Act Math" Advanced Math pullout lesson during our probability unit. If you look at the menu, you see that there are 4 ways to pick your protein, 5 ways to pick your bread, and then 39 other possible add-ons. If you can choose to add or not add each of those 39 items, then I think their claim is actually true!
