Banned Egyptian Group Gains Parliament Seats in Runoff Vote

By: The New York Times, November 17, 2005 Egypt's largest Islamic opposition group, the Muslim Brotherhood, has doubled the number of seats its members will hold in Parliament, the state-run Middle East News Agency and members of the group said Wednesday, based on preliminary reports of vote totals from a runoff election on Tuesday.
