This is a cover story that I created. I enjoy deezer and spotify. They don't have enough music from abroad. I enjoy Amazon music and Apple/Itunes, but they don't bring amazing new songs until they're too old. I love di.fm and other streaming radio stations online however they rarely have new, exciting music. They also only offer 1 hour increments of music which is great for when you want to party or tunnel, or throwdown.
And that's why I turn to Youtube. Youtube is the one site where you can discover music from every country as well as from every background and culture. Songs are uploaded to Youtube within minutes of having been played on radio stations. This isn't just because music labels share music on Youtube but because music lovers record new songs, save them to video, then upload the songs on Youtube as videos. Better yet, they can also record themselves singing the new song and then share the song on YouTube. A few of these share are viewed as viral and have millions of views. Copyright claims services may not be able detect them.
This means that any music, whether old or new, can be found in a variety of versions on Youtube with varying quality, from high to low quality, or even by drunken viewers watching the video. All is well, so long as I can take pleasure in the music. I'm always able to find the perfect track, then find good copies, but haven't had to purchase music for many years. I love that I can discover songs from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s everywhere on Youtube. Sometimes, I stumble across videos that say "This and this decided not to let you listen to this song".. I disregard this and visit Flvto or Y2mate to look for songs in mp3 format.
