I cannot tell you how many times I have hit the "Subscription Required" wall while researching for my PhD. One bad thing about (IMO) underfunded "free" college education is that the fringe benefits students take for granted in America, like access to JSTOR and the OED, are simply not available. Hopefully this little work-around will help me and hopefully other readers of this blog.

It's no secret that I think Google rocks, so I'm pretty excited about using their new browser. Be sure to read the <a href="http://www.google.com/googlebooks/chrome/">comic</a> they made to explain why Google is developing a browser and how it will differ from Firefox, IE, Safari, Opera, etc.
