Paint a Room and Wash Your Face: More Uses For Powdered Milk Than You Ever Imagined | Wise Bread

  • If you leave your frozen fish in a dish of milk to thaw, it will absorb the nutrients in the milk and taste as plump and fresh as the day it came out of the sea. Or at least close to it.
  • Soak the offending garment in milk overnight, then wash it as usual the next day. Damn those leaky pocket protectors.

Your Home Made Simple : Design 101

I have some friends who are successful designers, but unfortunately, their skills have not diffused into my brain. This site gives me free access to some sweet personalized stationary, address labels, invitations, and gift tags.

They aren't as personalizable as I would like (more colors!), and the interface isn't the best (can't see the full design before choosing?!), but it's easy, fun, and--best of all--free.

  • Nice analysis. I have a suggestion though, why not skip the baggies, pour everything into a big tupperware container, and then scoop a half cup or cup at a time when you’re ready to eat. Much easier for storage I think.
