Set Mibbit as your IRC client in Firefox - Mozilla Links

    • First, you will have to enable registration of protocol web handlers from different domains.


      • Enter about:config in the location bar and press Enter to access the advanced preferences.
      • Look for gecko.handlerService.allowRegisterFromDifferentHost and double click it to set it to true.

      Now click in the link below to add Mibbit as an irc: links handler.

      You will be prompted with a confirmation info bar. Press Add Application.

  • 在Firefox右上角有一个小小的圆形图标，当你的浏览器正在工作时它会旋转闪烁，这个图标就叫做“throbber”。当你点击它的时候，它会将你带到“Firefox Start”的页面。但你也可以将其它的页面关联到“throbber”上。在地址栏中输入“about:config”后按下回车键。在“过滤器”中输入“browser.throbber.url”，接着双击条目，在出现的“输入字符串值”区域中输入你想要关联的URL后按下回车键。那么自此以后，“throbber”就会将你带向你所设置的这个站点了。

Firefox Tip: Paste multiple lines to input boxes - Lifehacker

  • Type "about:config" in the location bar. In the "Filter" field type "singleline." You can set the value to 2 for editor.singleLine.pasteNewlines, which will allow pasting of multiple lines to input boxes.
