Pensioner killed after insulin overdose by nurse - The Times 27th March 2009

A diabetic pensioner who died after she was injected with ten times too much insulin by a nurse was unlawfully killed, a coroner ruled today.

Joanne Evans had just qualified as a community nurse when she used the wrong type of syringe while treating Margaret Thomas, 85, from Pontypool, South Wales.
