An excellent article with some initial quantitative research on tagging. Looks at how we could 'tidy' tags using methods like stemming, spellchecking, standard punctuation etc, and whether or not we should be aiming to tidy them at all!
Cloudalicious - Watching Tag Clouds Over Time
A great tool which graphs delicious site tag clouds evolving. I've seen people comment that the term 'blogs' is being replaced by 'blog' - well, today I looked at Flickr and it showed 'photo' being replaced by 'photos'. Make of that what you will!
