To do cool and powerful mathematical, scientific, graph plotting stuff - this is what you need in python - and its free (whereas mathematica software costs hundreds of dollars)

----------
What are scipy, numpy, matplotlib ?

Python is a general purpose programming language. It is interpreted and dynamically typed and is very suited for interactive work and quick prototyping, while being powerful enough to write large applications in.
Numpy is a language extension that defines the numerical array and matrix type and basic operations on them.
Scipy is another language extension that uses numpy to do advanced math, signal processing, optimization, statistics and much more.
Matplotlib is a language extension to facilitate plotting.

Chandra Bhushan, deputy director general of CSE, says that “the food-related laws in India are inadequate.” He notes that “while what the companies are doing may not be illegal, it is definitely unethical.” Bhushan adds that when PepsiCo began cooking some of its Lays products in rice bran oil, which is a healthier cooking medium, the firm heavily advertised the change, adding the “Snack Smart” label to those items. But when the firm recently switched over to palm oil, it quietly removed the label. “It amounts to misleading the consumers,” Bhushan states.

Having clear basic view of logarithm is important in computer programming and computer science...

So the logarithm answers the question:

What exponent do we need
(for one number to become another number) ?

I'm very fond of python, but it's not all roses:

Pyglet is not really under active development these days, and PyGame doesn't seem to have support for OpenGL 3+ (though I may be missing something).
Python's performance can really chug in places, though PyPy seems to be solving that problem (but, PyPy doesn't work with pyglet).
Distributing Python applications is not entirely straightforward, and I have run into compatibility problems in the past.

Those questions?
“I want to learn game programming, what language should I use?”
“Should I use an engine, or create my own?”
“What library/tools should I use"?”
“Now what?”

I will try to address all of these questions and more in the following post.

For those of you that like skipping ahead to the last page in a novel, these links are for you!
