collaboration technology does not in and of itself generate collaboration. The technology is simply a tool, a facilitator of people's communication needs and habits. I believe and have seen through experience that for any technology to be truly transformative, it has to put people at the centre.
There are many ways to do this, but one of the best ways to ensure that any technology transformation is supported by a robust communication and engagement programme – a feature that is too often missing from many technology-led initiatives.
