Appsfire was born in early 2009 out of an encounter, a user frustration and a challenge: 'crack' the iPhone sandbox to collect the list of user apps, thereby allowing the creation of a service to facilitate peer-to-peer app recommendations... a few months afterwards, Appsfire.com was born, starting with a Mac OS X client app and a web front, followed by a native iPhone app and a PC port of the sync app.
