I have always said that MySpace was missing a huge opportunity in not launching a more robust music service. I'm skeptical that this will be THAT solution, but I'm hoping it is. Jen and I already listen to a lot of music off MySpace. If this is done right it could be a major competitor to not just iTunes but Pandora and Last.FM

  • ReadWriteWeb does a great job of explaining what exactly Cloud Computing is.  Unless you've been hiding under a rock you've probably heard the term recently and if you haven't, get used to it, you'll hear it a lot.

    Especially as the Web becomes more mobile, cloud computing will become ever more important. 

    Amazon's S3 outage demonstrates the limitations in the cloud and, for me, demonstrates why some sort of distributed Cloud/Host system will always be required for apps.

  • I find Amazon's Kindle product very interesting.  Obviously those with a vested interest in the print business <cough> are watching this closely, but news that kindle has a browser should make every PC and laptop manufacturer sit up and take notice as well.  With cloud based computing becoming more and more of a way of life for some of us, what can't you do with just a browser? (Answer: not much)
