  • “Why wasn't I consulted,” which I abbreviate as WWIC, is the fundamental question of the web. It is the rule from which other  rules are derived. Humans have a fundamental need to be consulted, engaged, to exercise their knowledge (and thus power),  and no other medium that came before has been able to tap into that as effectively.

I'm really intrigued by Opera's new browser as a web server. It seems like functionality Chrome should have. Plus it seems like this could spawn the Web equivalent of Flash Mobs or Pirate Radio. Launch short lived websites for P2P sharing or flash social networking. I don't know, seems interesting.

A cool slideshare of Pew's latest research. I find it interesting that the Digital Collaborators and the Desktop Veterans had the highest income are both high contributors and both have been online for the longest.
