  • Thought TomTom was done after introducing the GO  930 and 730 at CeBIT? Think again, as the company is also unveiling the GO  530
  • feature a 4.3-inch 480 x 272 resolution display, a 400MHz CPU, 1GB of internal  memory, an SD expansion slot, built-in Bluetooth and a Li-ion cell good for  around 5 hours.

  • GO 530 will be available only in Europe and will come with regional maps depending on your place of purchase.

  • EU has objections to the TomTom purchase which will force the company to make concessions. These objections won't scuttle the deal completely, but will (of course) make it somewhat less than what TomTom hoped it would be. Garmin must be thrilled.
