- Cool that Paul Buchheit (Former Friendfeed, Facebook guy) joins the board. I don't know if I will ever use MyLikes though.. Doesn't sound too cool.
This is another HUGE plus for the great blogging service Amplify. The team really listen to the users!
They will look into upgrading the autoposting to Google Buzz and Friendfeed today. They will try to do so that images also get posted to these services. Not only our notes/comments and link to the Amp.
That's awesome! Even if they don't find a solution.
Really great people in the Amplify team.

With the Blogging 2.0 discussion saying that bloggers should go where their audience is I feel it is only a matter of time before this is taken literally. During the debate about linking and attribution I remarked “A FriendFeed blog anyone?” and with a few changes I could see it happening.
Many of the early adopters have already arrived at FriendFeed and it is one hell of a fun place to hang out on the internets.
Personal Brand is a marketing concept that, in general, says that you market yourself, all the time. You are the brand manager of the brand called you. Your choices, your career, the connections you make — these all build your personal brand.
I've been asked by other FriendFeed users to highlight how I use the popular social lifestreaming site. The first, and most requested topic, is how to best use the "Hide" function. With any luck, you can expect a new "FriendFeed Friday" post for a few weeks, until the point of diminishing returns is reached.
FriendFeedLinks is a memetracker that tracks most shared stories on FriendFeed
There are plenty of people using FriendFeed who are certainly not A-List, or even B-List names in any industry, yet have a good time with the service.
The problem with FriendFeed’s behaviour is that it fragments the conversation further. Instead of consolidating all of your feeds and making them easier to follow, it makes life more complicated for you
The review doesn’t include every desktop app, only ones that run on a Mac (although I know of only one non-Mac desktop client). Strangely all three are Adobe AIR apps (no Cocoa or similar Mac only app) so all three offer cross platform support.
FriendFeedLinks is a good start - it lets users quickly find popular stories and serves as a nice alternative to Digg. But unless it integrates more features in the near future, it probably won’t see much use.
You can now stream your Disqus comments through FriendFeed! Personally, I think this is a major step in the right direction to solving the conversation fragmentation controversy.
MySocial 24x7 is a sidebar extension for firefox, a perfect companion for FriendFeed.
