I don't think the Apple TV is so interesting. The low price is good though, it's so low so you could actually buy it and use it only to connect your iPhone or iPad to a TV through it. Better than buying the VGA Out cable.

Exclusive: Upcoming Apple TV loses 1080p playback, gains apps... and will be renamed iTV.

Finally something happens with Apple TV. Rumors, rumors all the time.

Funny thing is when I did the search link below, I found that Engadget had posted about iTV from Apple already in 2006! Cool eh?

  • Intel announced  today that they are officially branding their upcoming ultra-mobile processor  family as 'Atom'. Formerly known as Silverthorne, the new family of low-power  processors are specifically designed for mobile internet devices (MIDs).

  • Intel has officially dubbed the Silverthorn and Diamondville chips "Atom,"  and the Menlow platform has become the "Centrino Atom."
  • Obviously, the 45nm Atom chips, and Centrino Atom technology will be targeted  for MIDs, UMPCs
