I have a hard time believing that this "BlackPad" could compete with the iPad. RIM is only big in the US.

Smartphone a computer in your pocket:

- My iPhone has replaced many things I did on my computer before. Too me my iPhone is a computer. I blog, tweet, amp and buzz directly from my iPhone. Sometimes I even prefer to do it from my iPhone instead of starting up my laptop to do it.

Always on is the key.

I even prefer to read on my iPhone than on my laptop.
It is so relaxing to only have one app open and use it for reading.

One you tried an iPhone (or a good Android phone) you can't understand how you could have been without it.

Interesting article. I think Ultra portable laptops with around 11-13 inch screens is the way to success.

Ultra-portables are by the far the sexiest class of laptops. Especially when they start at just 2.2-pounds (1kg) like Dell's upcoming 12.1-inch E4200 or 3-pounds for the 13.3-inch E4300.
